The short story

Nowadays everyone has a camera in their pocket. One of my earliest memories is a little toy 35mm film camera. I took a lot of pictures with that camera, and they absolutely looked like a little kid took them but I still captured the moment.

Fast forward some years and a few more cameras later, and enter digital photography. Now I could take tons of pictures and not have to pay to have the film processed... Woo Hoo...

Eventually it was cameras that could be mounted on my motorcycle taking pictures and videos of my rides. Then cameras that shoot underwater for scuba diving trips. Then we get to drones!

My first drone was a toy drone that had a crappy camera on it. The camera was no better than the one on your old flip phone. But man was it fun sending it up a hundred feet in the air and having a completely new view. As with anything time went by drones improved, the cameras on drones improved, and my skills improved.

Which brings us almost to present day. The FAA said if you want to use your pictures taken from a drone professionally you have to get a UAV pilot license. So I did... I am a FAA Part 107 certified UAV Pilot, a Photographer, an outdoorsman, a motorcyclist, I guess you could say an adventurer.
